I’m a German-Japanese freelance cinematographer, director and editor based in Berlin, with over a decade of experience across film, television and music video productions.
As the founder of Movinapes Productions, I develop and produce documentaries, branded content and music videos with a team of international filmmakers, from the initial idea through production to the final cut. I bring a hands-on understanding of the entire filmmaking process and build the right team around each project. My work also extends into video art, collaborating with artists on installations and exhibitions.
I have led the creative direction and production of a documentary travel series for a German airline, and worked as director and DOP on productions and TV formats for broadcasters, platforms and clients including ZDF, ARTE, BBC, National Geographic, Amazon Music, Deutsche Grammophon, Sony Classical, Deutsche Bahn, Canon, Adyen and Resident Advisor.
I speak German, English and Japanese and have worked in Europe, the UAE, the USA and Japan.
